  1. He once said: "Every book I've ever written has been about abuse of power. I feel very strongly about that. I'd like people to know how deeply their politicians wrong them." Condon is the author of the 1959 novel 'The Manchurian Candidate', which was made into a film in 1962. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Condon
